The project aims to contribute to the objectives of the European Strategy 2021-2030, which aims to pave the way to a barrier-free Europe and to empower persons with disabilities so they can enjoy their rights and participate fully in socity and economy. Built on the results of the previous European Disablity Strategy 2010-2020, it is closely linked with the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (CRPD) and with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It promotes an intersectional perspective in line with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
